How can you wheel without dents? I'm thinking mud puddles and logging roads...

yes, tires are very important, you'll need them or else you'll ruin your rotors & drums. + they make the truck go faster with less sparks. I highly reccomend the round kind. Phil uses ones with large flat spots, but I don't think they work too well.

how are their street manners?

Metal Mulisha

They are great on the street. I only drive my truck 2 or 3 times a week & I get no flat spots. I bought the Radials this time cause they are superior on the street. I run the 36" 12.5" 16's. They are also a 10ply. I recommend em...but then again...what do i know.

so my 2 options for a 36inch for a 16 rim are tsl radials or iroc radials...i read the iroks were reallllly fast has anyone experienced this?

Metal Mulisha

The thing i dont like about the Iroks is the spacing of the lugs. There is big spacing between them & if your running alot of fire roads, shale etc, they are prone to flats.

it sounds to me like u want a mt ... [wako] ... not a swamper maybe the truxus would suite u better ? there 37 x 12.5 x 16 is LOAD RANGE E so they will be stronger than a c class tire ... road abilty and swampers just don't go hand in hand ...

ssr does ok for both till they get to 50% then it sucks at both ..... IMO

the iroc is not a deep tread tire to begin with so after a short time they appear worn ... and even the radial was not a tire they were thinking about for street use ...

just my thought's on the q's u are asking
