If it passed in a legit shop just 5 months ago, I'm curious why the e-brake is "unhooked" and the flaps are off? I'd definitely take it back to the shop that passed it last time! :D They sound pretty laid back! [36]

Shitty thing about that sticker on the windshield, doesn't mean a thing to a cop or a DOT guy, if they don't like the looks of it, they have all the rights to send you right back in, even if it's the same day it passed. :dontknow:

well to clear things up . i had the mud flaps on and the ebrake worked when it passed the vi... i destroyed the flaps so i was in the process of replacing them...and after i took the truck wheeling about a month ago the ebrake unhooked from the back brakes ans i just have not hooked it back up cuz i know the next time that i lock her in it will break... .. so now i need to get the bumper heigth lowered.... so any HELPFUL advice as to any good places to take my truck???

if it passed the vi as is before, why would you need to lower the bumper hieght now?

Put little dinky wheels/tires on it, the smaller the better, just for the VI. That might bring your bumper height low enough to pass.

Rules are rules....Its all about how you interpret them, for example, if it's not there, it can't be inspected......

You still have to have bumpers.......

Just saying, my front drive shaft failed years ago and I took it out so it passed on the re-inspection....
