Does anyone have a diagnostics machine that i could hook my 1990 f-150 up to for cheap.....? i'm in kelowna let em know thanks

Should have a diagnostic port if it's EFI.....my shops '91 with the EFI 5.0 has it.....

Yes it should, my 88 and 91 are both under the hood on the drivers inner fender.

There is a add on castanet of some guy with a scanner and will do it for about 40$ I think it was if I was not on my phone and I was on a computer I would post the link but I think it was in the vehicles for sale section under the miscellaneous section hope that helps

get a hanes manual, they have a list of codes and there easy to retreve, the mane advantage to a scanner is you can do a engine running test and get those intermitent codes

Goto candian tire and get the little code reader tool, I got mine for only $30, I think they are normaly $50. But just plug it in and match the codes in the haynes/chilton.
