A great festival this last weekend - 3 days of music, hippies, beer gardens, waaaay too much sunshine (yeah, that's right, TOO much!)

Festival was totally laid-back, lots of wicked food and other vendors there too!

A few pics..

"That one guy" weeeird one-man-show with odd homemade instruments:

My lady in her hippie-garb:

...and night falls... people crawl out from under the shade.. consume some beer.. and prepare to party into the night!

...and nice to start each day with a dip in Comox Lake.. a break from the intense heat at the festival!

Great show.. I'd recommend it to anyone!

I lived in Comox for a few years, I used to drink in Cumberland all the time.

Shambhala is my absolute favourite festival - unfortunately this just doesn't compare really.. Shambhala is SO much bigger, has a RIVER that runs through it to help with the heat & is even MORE hippie-fied. Missed it this year, the ferry plus the 9+hr drive to Salmo was a bit of a gate-keeper for us this go around.
