im in the process of replaceing the drivers side cv shaft on my 04 gmc 2500hd duramax sierra, but i dont know what the tourque specs are for the end bolt that holds the cv shaft and the unit bearing together, does anyone know??? i desperatly need to get it done tonight and have been looking all over on the net for any info and have come up empty handed, anyone point me in the right direction what its supposed to be tourqued at or any sites that say???

Try farmer tight, meaning tighten it till it feels right.
I never use a torque wrench as I never had one growing and have spent many many years of wrenching.
Otherwise can't help you, sorry....
