hey jeep guys, i put a wagoneer front axle under my 4runner. im now finding its not the best axle for finding parts. if anyone has any dana 44 waggy parts or a whole truck, it would help. all i need is the hub housing and the spindle

a gm 10 bolt should have the same assembly as the waggy d44`s, either that or check out napa or wakefield sperlings in abby, they could have somethin for ya

from what ive heard the parts are not made any more and the only part i can use from the gm is maybe the hub housing and not even to sure about that, the spindle is shorter and i guess i should say its a 78 waggy pass. side drop

Knuckles out is the same as GM 1/2 ton of the same year . . .

Knuckles themselves are almost the same, tie rod taper is made to mount from top on Jeep from bottom on GM and left Jeep knuckle is not machined and drilled for the upper steering arm that GM uses, are the only differences I have seen between them.

outer stub shafts, spindles, wheel bearings, hubs, brakes all the same as GM 1/2 ton of the same year, some 3/4 ton GM parts are the same as well.

i think one just came up for parts. might need a fluid change and a re-bearing. if i knew how to quote other posts this would have been a lot funnier
