Well I didn't get to take my truck out on sunday but since one of my friend's came out in his powerstroke bronco we decided to still make the trip to davis and if it looked bad we would just explore the gravel road with the newbies.

Anyway as it turned out with a lot of spotting we were able to get both the F150 and cherokee all the way to the lake.

The only damage... a little thrashing on the nerf bars of the f150..

Ritchie, who nearly drowned himself trying to get that log out of the water.. *shakes head*

i saw it in cloverdale at stampede tack this morning, heard the diesel and it was a bronco, if it has a 3 inch body lift it must be the same one. looks good

Yeah its a bronco body on a shortened F350 frame and drivetrain.

We spent 1.5 years building it and he took about an hour to wreck it the first time out lol..

Chopped 36 inches out of the frame and the rear driveshaft is about as long as a CJ5's now.

hehe he slid off rocks with his nerf bars but no damage to the body at all. The nerf bars did their job in my opinion haha.

Sounds like someone's jealous! I'd like to see the pull-off between the big block Chevy and a Powerstroke Bronco, anyone else? Torque numbers should be close. Maybe this should be a poll? :confused0006:

Yah, I prefer a Cummins (24V) over the Power Stroke too, mainly for ease of working on it. But seriously, 12v over a 7.3 PS? [16] Now, we're talking stock to stock here. But even a modded 12V to a modded 7.3 and I don't think they're even close. The 24V on the other hand....................
