I found this front clip from I think an old '40's Willys Truck? Am I right? I wonder what year?

ha, ha, ha.:happy0045: :happy0045:

No, may be putting it over my 454 on my jimmy frame. Mounting it to a suzuki cab from a suzuki pick-up. Cutting roof off cab. Make exo-cage, put stacks behind cab for 454. Basically a mud bogger, sand duner, rock crawler. I want to know if its a Willys so I can make a name for it.

I'd trade itfor a whole jeep body maybe;)

Any suggestions??

I'll have to think about it... sounds like it may be worth some coin to the right person... I would really like to put a cj5 body on my Jimmy frame if I could find one....

Warlord, I figured this front clip would have great character plus I don't want to hack it, take the fenders off though and put in some custom inner fenders/panels to keep mud off the engine. Plus with the narrow hood great visibility. BUT if you are interested in it pm me an off or what you can trade me. At this point I'm not into selling it.

It is definately a Willys pickup or wagon I am not as good on year identification on the trucks and wagons but they did run that style form the late 40s to mid 50s, my dad had a 55 pickup with a nose like that and a 396 shoehorned into it, was his tow rig for the CJ5 he sand dragged.

I stand corrected

grill - From 1946 until 1949 the grill was relatively flat; in April 1950 it changed to a sharper peak in the center.

I looked at some willys pickups and wagons on the net. The pickups with the pointed grill that are restored with a nice set of tires look really cool![36]
