Aug 1 - 5, 2008 I took Dylan camping at the Chipmunk Creek Peninsula Foresty Campsite. It was a different weekend for me. I had to sit around the camp [31] with a broken foot, while my son and everyone else was dirt biking and quading. Sunday I decided to do the Chipmunk Creek / Mt. Thurston Loop in my truck. Meet some great new people. [cheers] Everyone had a great time.

Here is a video of Derek on the Quad, showing us how its done.

The snow is all gone.... July 1st you could get to the first look out on the Chipmunk Creek side and half way to the second look out. On the Mt. Thurston side you can just make it to the top...

Wow! Awesome pics! And love you shirt, I think I need one of those. :D

The 2 mountains with glaciers, are those in the USA, is one Baker? Looks tempting for summer snowmobiling. [36] And is that an old mining road, the narrow shelf road? Looks like a fun ride.

Thanks... They are both in the USA and yes it is Mt. Baker. The pic is taken looking approx SW, a view most people don't see. As far as I know its an old fire access road. I never get bored of doing that loop. [cheers]

Yes there is... Can't do it this weekend, going to be at the Chilliwack Mud Drags.
