View Full Version : Fishing No Name Lake

Today, August 3, I go fishing up in the mountains at a no name lake. Not on any maps. Go with my uncle Ted and Cousin and with my Grandpa. No one fishes at the lake ever. People don't go on this road because trail messed up and hard to find. My uncle find it hunting. We take his two lab dogs Mylee and Moose. Hard to get boat in lake because steep rocky hill. Zodiac and inflatable OK because can carry down. Fishing very very good for very small lake. Catch fish all the time. Lost lots of big ones. Catch and release all the fish except one we keep. Nice and quiet all day. Only one truck go by all day. We have smokies on BBQ later after fishing. I want to go fishing again in the small lake.

nice pics as always taxi, did you try any flyfishing while you were there???
I noticed when yoyu are reeling in with your right hand, you have the rod upside down, there should be knob on the opposite side , unscrew it and switch the handle to the other side. there is a greater chance of breaking yor rod since it is going against its natural bend

Nice pics Taxi! I bet there's not too many lakes near K-town that you haven't been to!
