Well after beating (testing) the suspension and other upgrades in my 82 for my Aug trip, I found that now that the suspension has settled the rear hangers on the front TG springs hit the frame.:mad:

Not too good...

So I welded ip the frame and modified the shackles, (going to move the front diff 1 1/2" forward in the fall)...

It doesn't look like much but I cut and flipped the shackles so that there is greater clearance from the frame...

Now I just need to clearance the Hy-steer.

nice work....I broke my rear shackles yesterday...love the centre bracing....but i still have to take out the spring to press the bushing out and I'm gonna fatten mine up...

I ran them for years and years on my old rig .. Confer makes em!

degree shim is the key !!

just a note - you need to back off on the bolt torque ... your squashing your bushings !!
