Bought a 87 cherokee off my neighbour last week...The jeep belonged to a neighbour that was really close to my family known her my whole life and she just recently passed away so her husband sold the jeep to me... it has a new engine with 30 000km, and 350 000km on the body, 5speed, 4cyl, runs well its been kept in a garage and they bought it brand new little rust, never been offroad, only thing that is wrong with it is a lil whole in the pipe but who cares about that!!! just gunna weld it, my plans for her is 4 inch ift and 31s.... just a camping vehicle and for school

Looks good, 4 inch lift for 31s though ? I had 2"lift and 31s and i could flex it so far the tires rubbed on the inner fender. Have fun with it

Too bad about the 4cyl part but otherwise looks like a good beater bush truck. Welcome to the Jeep Club ... now we can tell you what JEEP stands for .................................................. ..........................

been looking into the lift thing prob jsut gunna get 2" for now i dont wanna have to go and buy more stuff to change the arms exct... dont have the money for all that so 2" will work perfectly and still have my 31s :)

the 2" lift from rubicon express is your best lift for the price and components, i believe you get coil spacers, shocks and add a leaf for rear springs. talk to B at jeep thrills, he can hook it up

Thats how it always starts out and then its "a little offroading wont hurt it" next thing you know your taking it up a river bed stock and by the time you get out you have no rear suspension left and a hole in the gas tank:dontknow:

Come to think of it a lift and 31's is a good idea to wait for :D
