ok i have a d44 out of a 81 fsj it had 6 bolt on it but i want to convert it to 5 bolt (ford) everything is all the same as for bearings and seals and what not, but the inner bearing diameter in the fords are to small compare to the fsj bearings... so the ford bearing doesn't fit over my fsj spindle and i cant use a ford spindle cause its completely different.. i hope this is kinda making sense to u :confused0006:

just wondering if anyone has done this convertion before, cause i NEED HELP !!!

you need to find teh early spindle, it is smaller and accepts the ford bearings. i used the spindle from pre 77 chevy 1/2 ton truck. i think some early FSJ had same one.... i used the chevy knuckle, stub axle, spindles and caliper bracket, ford f150 hub rotor and inner/outer bearings, warn hubs. here some info from the first link.
