straight to the point.

I found a landcruiser sitting in a guys yard and he kinda wants to get rid of it:happy0045: ...but its got a cracked head:confused0006:
its an '86 BJ60 or HJ60 (I think)...well its the big ass wagon type with an I6 diesel. I think the engine is a 2H or 12H or something like that.
Where would be a good place to look for a replacement head?

I dont know too much about old cruisers so any help I would appreciate[cheers]

Shawn - You buy. Not worry about it - put in a different motor.

Heads cracking is a fairly common problem. Heads are pretty easy to get I think there are even after market ones. Look at some of the jdm part places for parts. Extreme bends might have them. Check the frame for rot not many cleans ones left. The head is the least of your worries.

its auto. I diddnt get a real close look at the frame but the body looks to be fairly straight. Im gonna look for a head and see what I come up with, would kinda like to keep the diesel in it

I agree, put a 350 or a 3.4l toyota engine in it.
