Figured i would do a separate post for all the Pioneer Mines pics cause i have soo damn many of them

we did a day trip to check out the ghost towns of Bradien and Pioneer Mines

it was built right into the hill - walked around back and took this picture looking down

It's cool seeing another part of BC's history. Are there any open mines around there you can go into?

i have never looked for the mines - but i've never put any effort into looking (there is so much in the area 3 days is never enough)

When Dave and I went for that drunken midnight run, we discovered an old mine that was locked. It looked very cool.

There are dozens of sites [adits] in the area,I go there several times ayear
prospecting/exploring and visit different sites every time,just returned actually,will try posting pics of the Pioneer extension mine site I was just at.
[ It's above and south of the Pioneer Mine:p

The it's probably about a 6-7 hour drive from Kelowna. It would probably be easier to go from Kamloops to Cache Creek then to Lillooet and then on to Goldbridge from there.
