This is what happens when one of these....CAT793D 240 ton capacity haul truck.

Ran over a 20-passenger bus sitting off to the side at roughly 3am three weeks ago. Driver said he didnt even feel it running over the bus, had to get called over the radio to be warned that he was sitting on top of a bus. Luckily no one was in the bus and no one was hurt....Someone got fired though :dontknow:

lol the truck driver, the bus didnt have any lights on at the time and was sitting beside the drill. You cant see anything small behind you in those trucks, can only see out of the drivers side mirrors.

Actually at the $120 000 price tag of those buses, they are seriously considering rebuilding it and straightening everything out, I laughed when my foreman told me this.

you would be a fool to try to rebuild that inless you want it to be a short box chev, make that flat deck. :confused0006:

You know you a got a helluva blindspot when....

Last year I was sittin on a hi-hoe doing some hiway construction. We had a few smaller versions of the trucks there, and I got to watch one of them back over a Chevy half ton which, luckily, belonged to a co-worker.

Only ever got into one of them once, and couldn't believe how limited the visibilty is, especially off to the right hand side.
