Well I did the stupidest thing, I reversed charged my battery.
I was just wondering if it would be possible to drained it again and charged it properly and have it work on my bush beater that I only drive in my own "back 40"
Any help would be appreciated.

The guys here at CMBC say that if the battery was dead when you charged it it should probably be ok, if the battery had a %50 or more and then you reverse charged it the lead would have been removed from the plates and settled into the bottom of the case...

Battery is probably ok but it could get scary when you try and charge it back the other way. They used to use positve ground systems in the old days and the batterys are the same. Had a chairlift like that at the skihill i worked at. Try discharging it with a light or something first then carefully trickle charge it properly again. Should do it

hook a light to it

Thanks for the replies.
I hooked up a light to it and drained it then trikle charged it but it won't hold a charge now, so it's off to the recyclers. Time to get a new one.
