Check, check, check, is thing thing on?

Well after some very time consuming glitches in my reg process (damned hotmail anyways) I've finally made it on to the site. Glad to be here too, looks like a really great site and I love the rules you've laid out. I moderate another board that doesn't have such rules in place and boy o boy, I'm thinking about adopting some of your policies there too......

Guess I'd better tell ya'll a bit aboot myself...

My name is Chris, and I've been having fun in bc for about 7-8 years now. I escaped from the prairies to come here and I've never looked back. I enjoy damn near everything there is to do in the mountains-camping, freeride mtn biking, rock climbing, hiking, snowboarding, and most recently 4x4ing. A nasty injury (fractured T8&10) a few years ago took biking and snowboarding off my list of "allowed activites" though :( ...

I live in Kelowna and drive a 07 Ranger. I'm shy on time right but I'll put up some pics later of my stuck in the mud from last weekend...

Dude, I know how ya feel. I destroyed my left knee 2 1/2 years ago and can't do much now. I used to rock climb, hike, mountain bike, and about 30 years of martial arts. Now I'm overweight and just walking around lol. Waiting for surgery now. Thank God for my 4x4 [cheers]

Welcome to the site.
