i own a 96 Jeep Cherokee with a 4 inch lift w/ 31's


what would you recommend for road/hwy & off roading air pressure? it seems to ride hard now

I run 24-26 on hwy, only for mileage, I find it rides best at about 18-20. and off-road 10-12 unless your a little braver you could go down to 8ish, it will ride mint, and way better traction.

I used to run my XJ with 10lbs in the tires at all times.

dont go to low unless you have onboard air as the possibility of a lost bead or sidewall cuts is pretty good in some situations 10 lbs off road should make it alot more comfortable and still be safe enough for you to travel some distance once back on the road to air up.

18 to 23 is a good for roads and gravel i find [cheers]

It depends on the tire - 35, 25, 20..all depends on the tire.

yep 20 to 28 on the street 15 to 20 off road depending on driving style and ur confedance level ...

the shittier the lift u have the lower the presure u will want to compansate for rough ride ...

I run my 37" Mtr's at 8 psi, 4-6psi in the snow.
