View Full Version : No power to fuel pump

Went to start my truck today for the first time in something like 2 weeks. There IS fuel in the tank, even primed it and then I realized that the fuel pump isnt humming. Theres a three pin connector that goes from up front to the fuel pump, right in front of the gas tank. I turned the ignition on and theres no power in any of the three prongs, tried multiple ground points and Im under the assumption that theres no power going to the pump.

I assume its a relay :( Im really not too sure as to whats causing me grief, but i AM going wheeling on monday, even if it means a fuel pump toggle switch [36] any ideas ?

I would change the fuel pump relay since it would only be about a whole 12 bucks. If that doesn't work I would start testing the wire every 10 inchs.

Also check your grounds.... Is your pump in the tank?
