I notice when i drive my cherokee for a while like 2/3 hours at a time not much stopping i notice my tranny tunnel getting warm and the shifting gets super sloppy, high rpms, irrattic shifting and slipping.. Is it maybe the brain or would it be something internal or the cooler or something

again this is for my 97 grand cherokee 5.2

That body style is problem prone to failing trannies. They are a very common failure, and the rebuild is expensive....like 2G's,sorry.

pull the pan and filter and check the filter out, see how it is, you gotta keep them ones well maintained..........or you could just sell it lol...............
