what year exploder and is it awd ?.. What he said. There not hard to change if your mechanically inclined and have a decent set of tools. Ive never worked on an explorer but if it has manual hubs it shouldn't be to bad.

well if you can't fix your truck then don't wheel your truck. Take it a shop and get it done. Then leave it alone.

No Ive never claimed to be a mechanic. Most of the things Ive learned has been from workin on my own vehicles, workin in the autowtreckers or watching my Dad. My Dad's in the hospital after a bad car accident so I cant exactly ask him. As for being a mechanic... Ive never claimed to be one.

Well I ended up takin it to Berts automotive here in Surrey. They say that it sounds like a wheel bearing and maybe the hubs. My question is when I was out with it I going up like a 45 degree hill and then it happened it made a loud clunk and a realy weird wrrring noise. And later when driving it home it sounded like big tires on pavement if you know what I mean... A wheel bearing wouldnt make that sort of sound would it?? It wouldnt kick it outa 4 wheel would it?? Im stumped.
