How does this piece come apart? It is for the slave inside a m5od. The hydrolic line attaches to it. Also at the master cyl. How does that line come out? Just a metal pin?

there should be a plastic sleve on the one end that you need to push in to get hte lie out thats on slave side the other is the metal pin that you see.

that line is like 80 bucks so I hope you have the old one

alright so I was doing it right. Push the sleeve down... I broke my other one doing that, so I was hoping for a easier method. When I get a new line, the sleeve will just come back out when I push the new line in?

And no... I didnt save the line. Couldnt figure out the clip and I needed the tranny out so I could finish the job. I figured $20 at lordco... but they're n/a... dealer is $79 but pick and pull is $2 :D

If you dont know what it is, or what it is; than why post? If I wanted a new one, I would've gone that route.

The one I mentioned that I broke... I got the sleeve in (or so I think it is) but I chewed it to fuck with a screwdriver and it still never came apart. reccomendations before I smoke a good sized joint and tackling this?

edit: Have you seen the tool for this? It looks like a fucking nail puller.

hmmm not sure never had that much problem ,but maybe try a flat pry bar

ahh the little tool makes life easier, if you fuck up that white plastic ring your never gonna get it to clip back in again, just buy a KD one at lordco, dont fuck up the packaging, use it, and take it back when your done :)

wd 40 and compressed air they like to collect dirt and it stops the color from going down
