Gonna bee my new Rock/Mud Buggy:)
The frames already boxed.
Just gonna strip out the 4 banger tranny t-case axels everything then replace with new stuff.
Thinking a Ford 302 with around 400 horses. move the seat back to fit everything extend the steering make some custom drop brackets install some full size axels hoping to find another D60 set.
gonna have to cut abunch of stuff but it will be a pimpin Rock/Mud Buggy.
I figure it should be ripping up the trails by mid summer. :)
its makes it alot easier to fit a v8 with it being a stretched frame Willys.
Kinda a shame to cut it all up as they are so rare.
Only 1221 known to have been made stretched from factory.

hey good buy,,,is it a military one? look for some crazy unsuall brackets ....and stuff its worth lots if restored ,i did one before ...cool truck if you keep it stock in my opinion

its a cj2a so no its not a military one, but i believe the motor in it maybe from a military one. The coolest part i find is it is a factory long wheel base. 105 inch wheel base to be exact. :) Can't keep it original as i went halfers with sonofx on it, and he needs the tranny for his short wheel base one. so it gonna get d60's and a big engine hehehe

I really like the old Jeeps and Land cruisers. They look cool.
Good luck on fixing it up. Someday I look to buy an old Land cruiser very cheap.
When I travel around BC to go fishing, I see some old vehicles in the small towns,
