three weeks ago I ran it for about 30 minutes and it sounded fine

I'm wonderin if some sticky valves not closing properly would cause this

nope

I just took off my valve cover and half of my rockers and valves on the side i took the cover off of are dry no oil at them yet
so I'm thinkin I got some stickin valves

so recap valves and rockers for cylinder five and seven are gettin oil and it looks as tho valves and rockers for cylinders one and three aint.

Some sort of blockage maybee or I just gotta run it a little longer

You could try an engine flush. Id pour a little oil on the valves while it runs to prevent any damage. You might see things start to change as you run it if you keep the covers off. Can you push the valves manually? or are they stuck tight? If that doesn't work you might need to pull the head and lifters and go over them with a good cleaner. Could be the lifters are f'd. There's other shit it could be but thats where i would start, without seeing it anyway. I gather you have oil pressure eh.

I started runnin it last night with the covers off at a high idle and manually oiled the valves and rockers as well as the cam / lifters

Put about a cup of tranmission fluid in the engine oil and let it run it will clean inself out the detergent in the tranny fluid works very good for engines that have sat for a while
