Well, until I start making more money, I'll have to choose one or the other. And as much as I enjoyed dragging frame over speedbumps, It really made it difficult to go camping...So until I have enough $$$ to get my Jeep sorted out, and my '72 Chevy C-10, it'll have to be one or the other.

Sorry...not alot of pics to share. The only vehicle I currently have is the Jeep. not quite in the financial position to have anything else, due to the cost of lower mainland real estate. (The wife drives a 2000 Cavalier, but can't really sell it for enough to get anything cool.....cause it's a Cavalier...)

Thanks for the warm welcome guys and girls....hope to meet you all on a trail one day.

It was just too much of a pain to go Camping in s lowered S-10.
http://image04.webshots.com/4/8/25/3/53482503OamTKz_ph.jpg

I had to get the airdam repainted at the end of every camping season!
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v422/BlueZQ8/S10/DSCF0550.jpg

Everytime I want to get into a good camping spot, the airdam paid the price....so did the exhaust, the frame, the crossmembers.....
It was a great truck. Dragged it over all kinds of crap and never had a problem...except when I got high centered going into a driveway that had a slight slope....but other then that, and a few paintjobs on the front end....

Me thinks Camping will be a little easier now! And I'm not nearly as limited as to where I camp!

Is it camping season yet?????

welcome to the site and those pics are nice but can't figure the purpose to lowering a perfectly good truck only inches from the ground and scrape everything close to it....not unless you are a midget?

Well, I'm not the tallest guy it town, but really, a 2wd S-10 is really more like a car with a big trunk. And lowering it helps to avoid rollover situations when cornering
:)

Alright, fine, perhaps there is no "Practical" reason for lowering a 2wd truck...But then is there really a good "Practical" reason for lifting a vehicle and putting bigger tires and driving around in the bushes with the price of fuel these days? (Especially since a good chunk of these vehicles are our daily drivers)

Probably not, but it's fun!

So, in my opinion, Stock Sucks, and weather you prefer to go up or down, It's probably less practical, but there are probably good arguments for both.

Now if someone could just explain the whole "Ricer" thing to me.....

Welcome :)

my ricer, was a Mazda B2200, when I finally got tired of dumping money into it, and sold it she had just over 400,000 and probably could have got a lot longer. But she needed a new carb, and that was $1000 I didn't have. So I sold it, and bought a 1994 Ford F150 2wd (which is for sale)... My goal is to buy a 4x4. I'll probably get another Ford, I'm looking for a cheap Ranger or Mazda B2600i4x or a B3000
