i have a detroit locker in my s10 ( 9" rear diff) and when i let off the gas or let out the clutch it clunks .and it clicks when i am turning slowly.. i have been told this is normal but i wanna make sure. so can someone lend a helpful hint my way...:D :D

for sure.. ive never had a real 4x4 before my last truck was an s10 too ..stock with a body lift and 31" so ive never driven with the locker..great offroad but it just takes awhile to get used to the noises cuz some just sound so wrong...it was strange driving 4lo locked front and rear but sure is sweet wheni get stuck and in 2 seconds flat im out again....[cheers] [cheers]

Big bang and your truck moves over like 3 feet. Scares the shit out of ya 1st time it happens,think the rear end just fell out.Gets better as you get use to it,watch the traffic scatter when it happens in gridlock. LOL.

yeah i now know what you are talking about..it still amazes me to think that it is all normal..i am relieved though cuz i really though that my rear end was fucked....oh well it is all good[36]
