lmao at the motor pic. I'm really against renix after 6 months of fucking around with mine.

My '90 has 356,000 km on it and running strong. Regular maintenance had something to do with it. The only thing I don't like about it is the long crank time, especially cold. But I can live with it.

Pudge
02-01-2008, 07:31 PM
yeah, I can't say I've really had any problems either. Other than poor mileage due to a real bad exhaust leak. The long crank time pisses me off, but has always started. 300+ on my 90 apparantly around a 100 or so ago it was rebuilt.

Can't wait for the new & improved truck soon

Fock, the problem isn't the renix motor bro, it's what's wrong with yours. Mine runs like the day it was born. Personally i'll take the longer crank time for the 400rpm stall rpm (or whatever it may be)

Pudge
03-24-2008, 09:15 PM
Mine at one point ran well, and I knew I could fix it again. But now it runs totally different and way more power, for a little bit more than it would have taken to fix the old one, and 300,000 less K's. Worked out in my situation, yer still rockin the XJ, good in my eyes, lol.

Cheers
