Looking at a 94 4Runner with the 3.0 V6 5 speed runnning the small tire package(not 31's stock!!). Anyone know what gears came in the diffs of these things in 92? Seems like they are 4.30's and I heard that the 31 inch tire package came with 4.56.... any idea's? Can I run 33-12.50-15's be run on the stock rims(7.5 I believe)? You knowlage would help me greatly!

Thanks for you inputs!![cheers]

I have 2 friends with 4 runners and a buddy with a 92 p/u all of them 4.10's.

Best bet look in the driver side door jame at the plate and it will tell ya on it. Thats basicly the gutless 3.0 u feel. I had the same thing in my p/u and the 33's were fine on it.

Look on the ID plate on the firewall
it starts with the letter G then 3 numbers. My 85 Toyota xtra cab 4x4 Auto has the 430's

G 292= 410's
G 082= 411's
G 282= 430's

This is how it is identified on the early 80's Toys but I dont know if this is the case on the 90's models :dontknow:

The 33's will work OK to good on it but not great.

actually, there is an axle code on the vin tag on the firewall.

4:10
4:30
4:56 and possibly 4:88 were available
