Got a 95 2500 Silverado, 350 TBI that occasionally gives off strong fuel odors after I turn it off. Doesn't happen all the time but I'm curious to find out what it might be or if this is a common problem and how I can fix it??:dontknow:

Could be a damaged fuel line or a defective schreader valve????

Don't think so, but not sure how to tell, can't see any visible leaks though

[stupid] I would be checking the evarorate loss system. Could be a blocked fuel breather too.

check fuel lines going to throttle body, especially if someone installed a throttle body spacer

meh a lot of times the gasket beween throttle body and intake hardens up....leaks like a SOB, check that simply by spraying some intake cleaner around the base of the throttle body.....and chances are if it's leaking, it'll sputter on ya.....it's an easy fix, they (most of the time) come off in one piece, so all ya gotta do is unbolt the TB, lift it up, remove gasket, wipe with rag slide in the new and bolt it back down....
