my t-case is stuck in 2wd, but the shifter looks like its stuck between 4-hi and neutral.any suggestions????
can you move the leaver directly at the t-case? what dose it look like under neath? nothing bent or jamed? what the hell did you hit yesterday anyway, not just ice me thinks
sounds like a good excuse to put in a twin stick.

i took out the nut that i think holds the shifter in place(similar to a top-loader) and managed to get it un-stuck.i guess there are bushings or somethin that are worn out.

Is there a tab broken on the end of the shifter, had a chevy (top loader transmission) do that and it was just the shifter itself. I dunno if SJ stuff is similar. Mine would unlock after kicking it for awhile then it locked up solid and had to fix it. :dontknow:

i just found out that it keeps popping out of 4-hi 2 or 3 times and then it just locked up again(halfway up 112th toward thornhill) good times.is there a bushing kit or somthin to sort this thing out?

I got a stock 82 transfer case if you need one, would have to send it on the bus.

apparently running a sj t-case and a sammy 5 speed gives me a pretty good ratio. i got a busted up case that im gonna rob parts from and hopefully it will work.
