When i am in 4 wheel drive and turn a sharp cornr the front of my truck bucks kinda.Like its binding,but there is snow on the ground so that doesnt make sense does it? is it possible i am getting better traction than i figure? the universals are new so they should be fine.

I thought that was allways a good test to see if your 4 wheel drive was acualy working....????

Any lockers? My truck bucks around with my small tires and my locker when turning in 2wd..

Also, could be not enough snow, might be in fact getting too much traction, no differential in between front and rear after all (unless it's fulltime..)

I think it has something to do with the inside tire of the turn on the front turning at a difrent speed than the others that are pointing forward.........??????

Yeah, that's exactly what it is. Imagine what an open differential does on dry pavement, compared to a locked diff - your transfercase is the same as a locked differential, an all-wheel drive or full-time 4x acts like an open diff.

AKA, too much traction, the inside tires can't slip so they hop.

Cool thanks guys.Thats what i figured but the snow is deep and i figured it would slip better.

hrm I know when my Jeep had a fuckered LF lower balljoint and the right front hub bearing was screwed it would buck and kick like mad with the 235/75/15s I had on it, now that that's all fixed and she's wearing 31s, it's not so bad in 4 wheel drive on pavement.....still kicks a bit
