Well, the build went very well. All the guys that came up put in a full 2 days work and then some so thanks to all. We didn't get finished in one weekend but the hard stuff is done. Now it's all easy(er) stuff.
Lester is absolutely beside himself with all the work that was accomplished this weekend and I havn't seen him so happy since before his house burned, so thanks again and hats off to you all.[36] [cheers]

I've uploaded all the pictures I took to facebook so I'll just post the link.

O.K. Try that. I changed my privacy settings so you just have to be in the Vancouver Network to see it. I think?

who is Lester ??

Lester used to work at the second logging camp up Harrison East. When the camp shut down Lester just stayed there and retired. He's been there over 30 years now. I've been visiting him for about 17 of that. Try to bring him a Turkey dinner at Thanksgiving and such. Also stop in everytime wo go wheeling or fishing up that way and have a cup of tea and a game of crib or drop off a fresh fish for dinner. He used to have a 60ft mobile till early this year when someone burned it to the ground with his 2 dogs in it.

I hear you on the sore bit. Feels like I was run over by a freight train. Slept right through my alarm this morning. My wife woke me up and asked me if I was going to work today.... SHIT! What time is it??? Chilliwack to Richmond in 1/2 hr? No prob.[36]
Yeah. I was late.

We don't have to worry about windows for the back or side. We're getting all new windows put in our house beginning of Dec. so we'll save some of our old ones. They're older aluminum but they're still double pane. As for sheeting we still need some and tar paper and siding and insulation and........ the list goes on. But at least once we get the wood stove in there it'll all dry out and he can use the space. It can be finished whenever, bit by bit.

Thanks again to all who helped and/or donated.[cheers]

Waiting for dave or wade to post which day next weekend as I am going back up for the day. It will be nice to get the 2nd half of the roof tar papered and tinned. It will also be nice to finish the outside sheeting and get her insulated. Maybe we can get the tiles down to prepare for the wood fireplace install.

Does anybody or can anybody donate some insulation?? enough to insulate 2 walls 8'x24' and 2 walls 8'x10'?? It be nice to get enough to do the cieling as well. Comon guys step up and donate. Lester is a great guy who is very unselfish and can really use the help we can give him.

We've got a whack of it (not enough mind you) that is useable. It's just got some soot on some of it. Didn't want to bring it up yet as it would just sit out and get wet. It's sitting in dry storage at the inlaws house for now.
