Looking like winter in the higher elevations around here, nothing like Whistler has, but getting there. We didn't get up too high, maybe around 5300' where there was about 1 1/2' of snow. I imagine at 7000 there is closer to 2-3', gotta take the sled for a road ride soon to find out.

We rode up Sullivan creek, haven't been up there in about 7 years. Sure is getting grown in, but still some fun trails.

An old generator set up at one of the sled cabins

The snow at 5200 on Sunday had a really thick rain crust on it, not good for boarders/skiiers. Not sure when there will be good powder, we don't usually get the really cold needed for champagne powder until late Dec/early Jan. Just gotta get up there on a regular basis and keep checking! One thing for sure, the first day we have snow in the bottom of the valley, it will be fluffy powder up high.
