View Full Version : IFS Locking Hubs

Ok, this one is for the Toyota experts. My Dad has a '92 4x4 with the ADD front diff. I'm sure I've seen IFS Toys with locking hubs, can these be easily bolted on in place of the solid flanges?

He's got an intermittent noise, possibly the inner axle bushing in the knuckle, or a CV joint going. Problem is he is in Queen Charlotte City and I'm way down here in the Kootenays! :eek:

Iam pretty sure they can be , just get a set of stock asians

Thanks Liz, I'll let my Dad know that. Wonder what a wreckers will charge him. [16] I'll look up a set of Warns just for the hell of it.

stick with the factory aisins. they shouldnt be more than $60 for the pair from a wrecker...quite a bit of em turn up on the for sale forums here and bc4x4. the warns arent as good.

bolt a set of IFS locking hubs and disable to ADD. Make sure you get IFS hubs and not solid axles ones as they're different

kool links , i just got a 4 inch lift with the front diff and everything and locking hubs so i just going to swap that into my 92 runner
