Went Moose hunting with a great group of guys this week. Even met some great neighbours and partied with them a few nights. Days were spent quading to some great area's and nights were spent around the fire.

We were a little nervous because we were at ground zero of where last year hunters got stuck in a snow storm. some had to leave there trucks and gear all winter, others had to be helicoptered out and a couple paid thousands to get the road out plowed. anyway here is the story from my camera.........

Hunting for everone in the area was really slow this year as with that snow storm there was a 40% kill. There was talk of the whole area being closed next year.

Theo the great white hunter

See this was a trick, the Moose instead of running would laugh so hard they would just fall over
66146

Theo also does chicken charming as well
66147

Theo finding out that dumping hot cooking oil on the fire will burn you..but it was a good fire
66148

Inside the outside. With the extention on the tent it turns the tent into 32 x 14. works great for a heated cooking area

The moose is in PG getting processed. Gabe, Buckmaster got it when they were going down a river in a boat. I am sure there will be pictures in the next couple of days.

Serious John here, just signed up yesterday. Love the pics, not quite as good as the one I took of the moose guts, but decent all the same. Imagine my surprise to find out I earned the name of Serious John up there. How the hell did that happen? Have fun down at the ranch next week, don't run out of booze again, better planning will help. JB.
