View Full Version : Leaf Springs Bending oppostie way?

just wondering, when my rear end is completely flexed out, the one leaf spring is bending up, is that a bad thing? or should i throw my overloads back in to prevent that? i mean it will mean less flex and all but if it saves my leaf springs.

as long as you dont park like that for a couple of weeks and your springs arent way old you will never notice the difference.

actually leafs don't like a negative bend it will bend them in time, just install bump stops so it cant go more than a couple inches negative .it will actually increase flex too.

.... i have bump stops they're just up a little high.... what if i just threw the overloads back in them?
