I just got a hard top for my 1993 YJ plus wire harness. While I was bench testing it I found out the Rear Window Defogger Relay does not seem to work . Power in but no power out. Has any one have one of these relay go on them Also I can' find out what the pink wire from the back plug on the hard top to harness plug. Is it to run the light on the spare tire or something? My jeep does not have that plug or rear light, so I don't know where to run the Pink wire HELP.

I've never had one die but if it did it should be pretty easy to replace..

Must be special relay for that price.(ya right):confused0006:

If its common relay like whats used for fog lights, etc then just go to wreckers and scoop from cherokees, dodge caravans, dakotas, etc.

No this relay has a timer in it. It also might be a wire mix up. But I wired it the way the diagram said too. I'll just keep trying.

It turns out you have to have 25 amps continuous power to active the switch. Works great now and I still have 4 relays as back ups. It's a good day.
