View Full Version : spacers between front diff and leaf springs

i took the front diff out of my truck a few years ago, when to put a new one back in, and suprise, i lost all the hardware, i when to every auto parts store intown and the chevy dealership all i need is the spacer betweeen my frontend and the leaf springs, i dont want to go to the wrecker and get used, does any one know where i could go to find a set

any spring shop should have what you need with any degree thats needed for your shaft angle

front end? Just stack some lift blocks in there and your good to go[36]

i whent to the only spring shop intown and they didnt have anything but ill call a few in kelwona

Could ya imagine it used to be done?!! I looked at some of my old 4x4 mags that have trucks with blocks in the front end, crazy eh?!!

talked to a buddy of mine and he says he doesnt even run them, and that there just for noise. is this trure or should i run them?

Angle shims are for correcting your driveline angle, they have nothing to do with noise, unless you're talking about those thin pieces of rubber between the leafs. Those are for noise.
