I've had this warn winch for a few years now and decided it is time to mount it to my Dakota. I can't decide whether to just build a tray for it and mount it as is or if I should ditch the front plastic bumper and build a whole new bumper. Ideas??

What material is best to use that can be light enough but strong enough??

Keep in mind that when I take the plastic bumper off I have to hide the radiator and the trans cooler. Stupid dodge.

This is sort of what I have in mind.

looks good but I don't think you need to use such heavy material to build it
