i have a 1979 gmc 1/2 pickup with a 14 bolt ff rear end i currently have 16.5" rims and there doesnt seem to be much room between the drum and the rim if i went to a 15" rim would i be able to fit the rim over the drum?

what about the front i have heard of people having to grind down their callipers i have a dana 44 front axle

your running 1/2ton front dont need to grind down

sometime's u still have to do small clearanceing for the 1/2 ton front but 15 " rim's will fit ...

you do have to grind with the d44..if you have the big brakes on it...

it also depends on the with of the rims you are using not just the hight of the rims.

you have to grind the backing plates if its 3/4 ,calipers if its 1 ton
