get some proper welding gear.weld some caps over the holes and grind it all smooth so theres no sharp edges. Do some more bracing and get a softop yer good to go.

Ya, its running good'r now.. Ignition shit is all fixed, we tuned it and it passed aircare! WOOPAH.. Matt i Cut it Behind the Main Brace or whatever its called so its still very supported, in the pic it looks like the roof is sagging because i was sittin on it and bent the support its up now and we are welding in some supports and something for people to hold onto and for my shit to stay in with.. il have more pix as the weekend goes on :)

you can weld galvanized, i do it for a living. all sheetmetal is mostly galvanized. it gives off zinc oxide though, you need to wear a respirator

Yes it can be welded but it is poisonous. It looks good as long as the fence posts aren't stickin around too long.

You can weld galvanized but its gonna be a shitty porous weld, Really brittle from hydrogen embrittlment. Any thing at my shop thats galvanized we arsenic leech it off or acid strip it depending on the parent material.

Just drink lots of milk after welding it youll be fine. haha

1) You painted the tires? wtf!

2) I don't think that cage is gonna help you much if it rolls. :confused0006:

3) Looks cool anyway. [36]

1) i had no choice, fucking chris sprary painted swaztikias on my tire so i tryed to clean it off so it spread then it just went to shit from there :)

2) NO THE cage would definitley kill someone if they were under it, suppose to just keep the heat off a bit from the po ( good luck with thatt )

3) hell ya it was a blast doing it [36]

i guess it would depend on what type of bender you plan on getting.
tubeing or pipe?

Gaybait
08-27-2007, 07:49 PM

Your missing a key element of budget 4x4's. Cut the fenders man, get out the shears.[36]

do you even know what that means?

gaybait since your truck is a piece of shit you might as well just use some schedule 40 pipe its cheap and it will be good enough for what your gonna do, its easier to bend than tubing in most cases, especially with the kms bender

remember that Pipe dies & tube dies are different, so decide on the type of round stuff you're going to be using the most before you buy dies.
