i got a 88 s10 blazer with 4.3 replaced every sensor still nothing im lost trucks idles rough than stalls

They are also bad for the throttle body base gasket leaking/blowing out I have done that gasket many many times on the TBI chevs.

i dont think it would be egr when i turn it over gas shoots out tbi unit and black smoke out exuast it starts bmpin and spiting then dies

If yer Mass Air Flow seonsor is mounted in the air boot tube.....make sure that tube is securely and properly attached to the throttle bosy and the other end, also check for rips and tears in it if you have such a setup

hrm well, my shop has had similar probs with slightly newer S10s that came out to things like the O2 sensor, not enough fual pressure (bad pump/bad regulator) leaking injector inside the intake plenum (it's a pricy part) clogged cat, just some ideas hope they help.

Could possibly be, never know until ya dive into it headfirst.....them first gen 4.3s had al sorts of ways to bring them down.....makes us at my shop pull our hair out tryin to figure it out sometimes......

well not quite, my neighbour backing into his truck when he pulled out of my driveway coulda helped fix it... usually with a chev if u hit it hard enough it starts working...

no, we went to pick-a-part and grabbed a dist(the coil thing he was talking about looked pretty hooped, dunno what it's called, somethin for the electronic ignition in the dist) and his coil was loose in the mounting bracket so it might have been somewhat shot too, got a nice aftermarket one from there too, looks like it did the trick.
