i had a buddy that had 529s with 36s and they were alright, but 38s you would think youd need lower gearing,i know 410s are decent with 33s,but pretty much suck with 35s,wouldnt it be the same with 529s with 36s and then with 38s:dontknow:

so very close you wouldn't notice the difference, 529's would be the lowest you would want to go with a toyota for gears. if you want lower dual cases then 4.7 in one of the cases

i have a couple spare tranfercases, and was thinkin to double up,but not sure how to do it,571s are the way to go according to th super swamper site but,i was thinkin smaller gears would lead to breakage

5:71's are weak .... you'll snap em like a tooth pick if your using it ... if its a mall crawler then you'll be fine .. 5:29's are ok ..

i otally agree, i got 4.10's welded with a 327 & a 700r4 on 38's right now and i'd never go back to a 4cyl toy. although it's a strickly mud truck not a crawler, if ya wanna crawl do the 529's with dual cases

i got 5.29s dual cases(2.28) and 36 13.5 iroks, i could easily run a 38....38 would probably work better as well

going to try out the 529s,if they dont work how i figure they should, ill just duell case it,even though this truck isnt for crawling ,manly trails and mud[cheers]

its acually a cruiser front diff or intenals i belive, kicked the living shit out of it with the 35s,thats jumpin it and runnin over cars at surrey sinners old place, never have broken a thing besides ,i blew my t case in half once, but its strong and should hold up[cheers]

[stupid]

you must not be locked up front nor actually do any hard wheeling.

Unless its an FJ80, the cruiser diffs are the same strength as a regular truck solid axle. Even uses the exact same birfs

trust me ,i shit kick this truck,i built it from the ground up to take a shit kickin, its strong as can be,this truck has been up past the hood in mud and water,i didnt build a truck that would break every time i take it out, that would have been pointless, ive had this truck for 8years and blew the transfercase once and broke welded spiders, thats it,ive taken it up to harrison, hope, merrit,is been out and its been abusd, just because thees no body damage dont mean i dont wheel it,you will see it out and then your tune will change, this truck is built,i have like maybe 7-8grand invested,i just wanted a stock lookin truck nothing special, just lift and tire is what it looks like ,but the internails are built[cheers] oh ya i have more spare parts than you can shake a stick at so im not worried if something does break

[iagree]

22r's and re's are 90 hp..stock...give or take some per year... bored cam'd headered maybe 125..... unless one has visited LC engineering and stroked it. I don't feel one could push 150 unless your un-naturally asperated.
