The napa first line ones are made by spicer. I've never had a problem with em. The second line ones are a little weak though.

yeah, the napa ones sound half decent. Their 2nd tier ones arent even an option. Ive only heard great stuff about moog, guess you get wha you pay for.

Been in the industry for a long time i always used to buy Moog they are the best i had used . Until Working at Fountain had a customer with a 4X4 Dakota that was going through ball joints every 2 to 3 monthes they were moog ......We then figured why not put the Napa Chassis ones in for a try because they were out of stock with the moog ????? after a Yera and a half they were still in there and had very limited play with no driving change ?????? so just cause it says Moog on it doesn't make it all that good

ive heard dakotas have had shitty ball joints problems for a while. This will be in a chev 3/4T with 37's, which will see daily driver usage and weekend wheeling.

update, took the old balljoints out, im threading the insert castle nut looking "sleeves" into the top hole for the upper balljoint, it says the insert needs to be flush with the top of the ear, but still at 70 ft/lbs. None of the local auto part stores have the proper 4-pronged socket to use a ratchet and i dont want to chiesel it in?

went to lordco, they said no. I'll try again, if not KMS tools it is. I'm running 37's, plans to go to 38s if my wallet allows.
