Got any more pics of the Estella mine? Would like to take the quads to the East Kootenays for a couple of weeks. Saw some pics somewhere else that really made me want to go. Somewhere east of Invermere I think. Looked like 7000' and up, totally bare.

Just found the Estella mine on Deposit finder and you were fed some BS on that mine. It was in production from 1951 to 1967. Pretty big mine too, would be cool to see. Did you guys see any portals underground? Would think a mine that recent would be in good shape to explore.

Heh, I didn't think the guy tellin me all the info knew what he was doin :confused0006: Yes it was cool to see, there are a couple portals still there. It's just a pain in the ass to get to, unless you're on a quad :party0010:

Would be cool to check the mine out, bet it's in good shape. And I just so happen to have a quad too! :D One of these summers I'll head over to that part of the Kootenays.
