decided i should post some pics and info on what is happening to my YJ right now.

Its getting masasged over with a bunch of new parts. it had a 4cyl, 4" lift, 2" body lift, SYE, 33" Baja claws, and stock axles. all gone now...

360 amc motor and 727 auto has been put inbetween the frame rails. AA motor mounts were used there. dana 300 bolted up with no adapter. might have some potential clearance issues with front driveshaft and trasmission pan. will find out soon...

for the skidplate we took a CJ5 skidplate and adapted it to fit. dana300 was in good shape, cleaned it up and having the twin sticks made up for it this week.

dana 44 from a scout II, with the C's turned 7*. chevy flattop knuckles, spindles and ford hub/rotor, warn standard hubs. 4.10 gears, open carrier. all moog balljoints and TRE.

Originally bought Sky-manufacturing flat arms for high steer, well not enough clearance so i need to get some raised arms. flat arms are fr sale now (pm if intersted)

rear axle is ford 8.8, 4.10 gears disc brakes, bought the MORE kit that came with perches u bolts, plates, tabs e brak cable etc.. using spidertrax wheel adapters

15x10 white wagon steel rims, 35x15x15 TSL SX tires. tires are grooved but don't have alot of life left. hopefully they last till next summer.

Grand wagoneer front leaf springs on all 4 corners combined with SOA for extra lift and wheelbase.

Still on the to do list is:

get spring perches welded on and set pinion angles.
measure driveshafts and shocks
install HEI distributer and wire up the motor. (not sure what to do with the old jeep wiring and what can be removed.. i might just end up leaving all the odl wiring in place.
pull gastank replace fuel pump with sending unit
remove flares, cut rear wheel openeing larger
plumb in flexalite tranny cooler
hook up power steering, fuel lines
set timing adjust carb and tune motor
get exhaust work done

may be a few other things i am forgetting. hopefully i c an drive it by mid august.

updated with some pics. had to cut off upper shock mounts and fab up some shock hoops. having problems with these 35x15x15 tires rubbing on the shocks at full lock. will be going with skinny tire in future but for now wheel spacers will make it work.

need shifters (trans, t case)
distributer install and some wiring.

getting closer and closer!! [36]
