i recently got a 4' lift and 33' m.t's.

Thats probably your problem !

Lift the carpets out or crawl in from underneath with in reverse -You are probably very close to making contactwith your shifter to the body sheet metal ! Witrh movement you will make contact and get pushed outa gear !

So look to see how much clearance you have and how much metalsa gonna need to be trimmed --Hope this works-Bruce

fawking hell! a 4 foot lift will cause all kinds of issues

Cause i'm a jeep idiot, why woud a 4" suspension lift cause shifter problems? I can see a body lift causing that problem and i had it with my rig. (into 4Lo).

not being a smart ass, i'm trying to lean something

and i dont believe he put on a 4" body lift.

If you lifted it you probably put in a tcase drop and now what you are having is clearance issues with the cut out in the floor and the boots around the shifter.

Jeeps lifts are sometimes almost redundant when ya lift em ya gotta drop half the drivetrain so the drive shafts dont get fuckered upper 4 inches up two inches down[16]
