Took the trailer out to sunrise lake over Canada day long weekend, thought it was about time I tested it out. The video quality is CRAAAAAAAAAP, I had JUST bought a new DV tape for the trip and it already started to crap out!  but you can make it out for the most part.

Can't really tell what the trailer looks like from the vid, and pix?

yeah, I'll get some pix up of the trailer soon. Does anyone know what might cause that pixleation of the video? I've tried older tapes and now its doing it to all of them :(

I believe your scanning fields are out of whack. If your camera has the ability to adjust the separate fields, you might able to correct it, otherwise it's time for a new camera. When an image is put together, it actually takes two pictures, one scans all the odd lines and the other scans all the even lines.

I could be totally wrong, and there's something else wrong with you video recording head, but I really thing the two fields are out of line.

Good luck.

well I've ran the fuckin cleaning cassette in there about 10 times now. I tried reccording a bit with it and playing it back to see if it would start pixilating again but it didn't???!!

Anyone know a good camcorder repair guy?
