Manning is beautiful. We do one trip a year there on the last open weekend of the year before they close for the winter.

Those are great pics as well. I especially like the one of the loon swimming in the water by itself.

The park's lady's husband remembered gavman and myself from last year, even remembered the site we stayed in. He had a few drinks with us last year. He saw the hot tub and said, "Man, my wife has to see this, I'm going to give her a call." About two hours later while we are in the tub, she shows up. They were invited for some drinks and hot water, but never showed. Four other rangers heard about the tub and came for a looksey.

Love the pics, was the bear coming from our site?

The bear was up past Lightning lake on the way up to Gibsons ski area.
Wish I knew you guys were from here, we would have stopped in to meet ya and have a drink or too. Seeing those pics of your setup sure makes me want to have a setup like that next trip[cheers]

those little chipmunk lookin things stole my joint when i was up there on wensday, little stoners got my kill kush[36]

It was the funniest thing i ever seen. I was feeding them bread out of my hand and he put out the joint he was smoking to get one to come closer thinking it was food. It got so close it snatched the joint from him and ran back into its hole.

I bet those rodents had the mad munchies that day. Damn just thinkn about it makes me laugh so hard.

Awesome pics by the way, there sure seems to be more black bears in the area this year.[cheers]
